1 months + I didn't post liao lorh, it had already pass through a new year, but I don't want to lose some memories, so it's better for me to come post about this.
Actually I had quite forgotten about the leftover days in OETI, I just remembered we started to slack off and a lot of stupid things keep coming in and in, especially the playing of monopoly deal, it was almost everyday, almost every single time whereby we can get hold of, we will start playing, and I will make hell lots of noise to try and build up the atmosphere. =D Seriously speaking, it's really, a good place to mix with friends, do silly shit, all sorts of weird stuffs.
A few things I remembered in OETI is that we stayed our during the last week of our training. I actually complained about waking up too early to come to camp, and especially walking the freaking long distance of walk from the guardhouse to OETI. But still, I complained but I do not mind. Moreover, a lot of people started driving in, like Timothy, GuoHua, and so on and forth, and almost everyday I can hitch a free ride out to the MRT to take bus back, which landed me damn early home. =D
Once JieMing cycled all the way in, and park his bicycle at the locker room, and I cycled around the room, damn cock, and that day he went to push his bike out with 1 of the warren because they both bicycle in, funny moment for him I believed.
The most cock up situation would be the last day in OETI, the ME3 actually starts to clamp trainees car!!!!!!! Woah, a lot of our people got clamp onto their cars, but someone was a lucky chap, they missed out 1 clamp and thus he quickly drove all the way to multi-story carpark, then came back for "lesson." Though they copied down his carplate number, but luckily he went off smoothly that day.
天下没有不散的宴席, eventually, we knew our posting 1 or 2 days before we were posted out, so I was trying to understand the new camp I'm going into, but well, none knew of the answer. So on that day, beside the clamping part, we listen to a talk, and we left OETI at 3+pm. Which concludes my days in OETI actually, but not for some of them because they had the chance to go back and learn other vehicles, but not for us.
Chong Pang CampThe 1st day we went in, waited for quite a bit because we didn't expect them to start so late, but still, our platoon clerk starts introducing us to some of the things in the place we are going to do, and start bringing us for sightseeing, follow by listening to the new PC speech for us, and continue our stuff, until we went home. The 2nd day was pratically the same thing, nothing to do at all, and went back home smoothly, just that now it tooks about an hour to reach home.
So our OJE(OJT) started the following weeks, we did so by letting the seniors guide us along while they work, and so on and forth, trying to learn as much as we can, in a new environment, in a new place where it's a mystery to us. Some funny stuff would be that there are some of my BMT mates actually was in the same camp with me, and best of all, 1 of them is in the same unit as me, but he posted out due to his medical status,
so I will hereby wish him good luck. =D
After 2 weeks + being there, overall it wasn't a bad place to be, the regulars are not that bad, the seniors are good, helpful, cheerful and sociable. whereby for the regulars, it's really a total place of mix up background and behaviors, none of them had any comparison to each another, which is a hard part for us to get to understand them more, but no worries, there's still a long time ahead. Haha =p
Heard from some of them whose with me at OETI, some of them are really living in ultimate life, can call me and tell me they are doing nothing at all in camp, sleeping throughout, playing pokemon and stuff like that, I envy them, because we thought ours was good, but not that good afterall, maybe it's in the long run, pray hard. =X
But of course, there are few of them whose already slogging their ass up like us, it's really a total different environment from OETI. Hmmmm.....
Days in camp are like that as for now
After leaving OETI, my platoon went for 1 outing, though not all but at least half of them show up, which is a picnic + kite flying relaxation day at Marina Barrage, I
think everyone had their fun-filled time that day, by looking at those pictures and their laughter, well, I really want to see more gathering like this occuring for our platoon, it's good, and really, a day of doing nothing, wasting of time, not thinking of any stressful things. Well, all in all, enjoyment after a long week of work is all good. =D
